Why should you have a home inspection?

Why should I hire a certified inspector instead of performing the inspection on my own?

While the buyer may have extensive knowledge of construction, often times they do not access the attic, crawlspace, roof, or electrical panel. These areas regularly contain hidden items that cost thousands of dollars to repair or affect homeowners’ insurance.
